New Premises

Burton Property has submitted a detailed planning application which does include space to accommodate a new surgery. The total projected cost is much higher than expected and the Practice would be unable to finance the project alone.

Following a meeting which took place on the 20th October, between all interested parties, we hope that together we can find a solution that would allow us to move into new larger purpose built premises. This would be dependant on the current surgery building being redeveloped into flats.

The developers and EHDC will be investigating several options which would not only provide suitable health care facilities are made available but also ensure the legal requirement of affordable housing within community. Without your support over the past 12 months these potential solutions would not have been considered and we are extremely grateful.

It is early days and these options are dependant legal opinion and financial support. Without new premises, any local development would have a negative impact on the services we currently provide. This would be unacceptable and we would therefore not be able to support the redevelopment of the Gales site.
